About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team. You will play a key role in the design, development, and delivery of mechanical /process systems for our THP installations, with a focus on pressure vessels and piping systems. This position reports to the head of the design office.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and review vessel & pipework designs, drawings, and specifications for THP plants.
- Perform engineering calculations for pressure vessels and piping in compliance with relevant standards (e.g. ASME VIII & EN13445 for unfired pressure vessels and ASME B31.3 & EN13480 for process pipework).
- Collaborate with structural steelwork designers as well as electrical and automation engineers to ensure integrated plant designs.
- Prepare documentation for fabrication and installation.
- Support procurement, supplier follow-up, and fabrication quality checks.
We are looking for
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Logical approach to work.
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken).
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 3+ years of experience in vessel & pipework design, preferably in process industries (energy, water treatment, oil & gas, or chemical plants).
- Solid knowledge of design codes and standards for pressure vessels, & piping.
- Experience in using pipework and vessel design software such as Caesar and PV Elite.
- Proficiency in 3D design tools (e.g., SolidWorks, Inventor, AutoCAD Plant 3D or similar).
