Supply Chain Manager

Cambi is looking for an experienced and motivated Supply Chain Manager to join our team. As Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible and passionate about developing and executing the supply chain strategy and operations, and will play a vital role in driving the company’s growth and success. This is a new position in Cambi and you will have the opportunity to make an impact.
You will also be responsible for implementing best practice for our procurement processes, ensuring efficiency and cost-effectiveness across business units . As Supply Chain Manager you will be preparing, carrying out and leading negotiations with suppliers and partners.
This is both a strategic and operative role. It is important that you enjoy being hands-on while taking an overall view and responsibility for the function.
Job responsibilities includes:
• Source products and services for the company
• Develop, secure and follow up effective supplier agreements
• Develop and implement supply chain strategies
• Carry out cost, quality and improvement processes
• Implementation of supply chain scorecard and performance improvement for relevant KPIs
• Ensure and identify potential cost savings
• Ensuring procurement sources are secure and sustainable
• Creating and maintaining positive relationships with current and new suppliers
• Acting as the main contact point for organizational procurement related questions
• Drive development and improvement of the supply chain process
Your background and profile
For this position a university degree in engineering, supply chain management or logistics is required. Extensive and proven knowledge and skills within supply chain operations is a must. You should also have some years of experience of working at a multi-national company and a solid track record in meeting substantial material cost reduction targets. Experience from the process industry, wastewater, sludge treatment will be considered an advantage.
It is important for us in Cambi that you have a personal interest in what we do for the environment and that you believe in the impact recycling has. Wastewater and sludge turning into bioresources is making a big impact on our world, so you must be pro-active and with a drive to both contribute and deliver.
