We are looking for a Business Analyst to join our Finance & Accounting team. The role is involved in a broad specter of financial affairs, and will support decision-making on strategic, operational and financial topics.
You’re able to plan and prioritize effectively, and you enjoy turning raw data into insights to support better business decisions. Your excellent communication skills will help you to effectively communicate complex insights in a simple way to your colleagues.
You’re able to decipher the various puzzle pieces that constitute our finances, and your creativity will enable you to build and maintain advanced forecast models that bridge financial, operational and strategic themes.
From developing forward-thinking forecasts, to scaling our automated financial processes, your contribution will be important by being an advisor to the business operations.
You have high attention to detail and you are well-organized. Alongside being curious and self-motivated, your analytical mindset will make you capable of handling and analyzing large amounts of data, which will enable you to provide advice for key decision-makers.
The role is a part of the Finance & Accounting function and reports to the CFO.
Key tasks and responsibilities:
- Provide advice and insight to decision makers based on data and analysis
- Bridge financial, operational and strategic topics and help translating these into concrete actions and initiatives
- Develop and maintain financial forecast models for the company
- Coordinate the forecasting process across the company
- Automate reporting of operational and financial figures
- Support and coordinate improvement initiatives
- Support M&A and investment opportunities
- Analytical skills and curious mindset
- Interest in analyzing large, complex data sets and converting them into the information and insights that drive business decisions at all levels of the organization
